It'll just cost you a fortune, it's more stressful then enjoyable, and you'll attract all kinds of smirks and nods of pity from people looking at the poor sap that has to lug around everything including the kitchen sink because he has to be prepared for anything with a kid in tow.. Haha! And be expect to see your whole vacation through the lens of a camera or on your video camera screen, because you'll want to document EVERY single moment of your child's life. Bring band-aids, you'll trip and fall a lot.. Hehehe Just teasing ya. It's awesome. Besides, we all expect you to travel back to S.D. to share the little one with us! For the holidays.. T-Day here at my house. The tradition is slowly being passed on to me now. Wish me luck! :-) As for X-Mas.. I'm trying to talk the hubby into going back to S.D. during the kids' Christmas break. I am very homesick and missing my sister and her family terribly. We usually only travel back in the summer, so it might be fun to go at a different time of year. Besides, it'll warm us up..it can get pretty chilly here in Texas in the winter! So, hopefully I'll be there running around our old stomping grounds soon! Nice to see so many familiar names.. Im here. Still in San Diego- Thanksgiving will be spent in our other home in Oregon, 120 acres tucked away in the woods... so nice to have a place to escape all this San Diego madness. This year Xmas will be spent here in SD. The kids are getting sick of xmas travel- santa isn't so generous when you are traveling - or so they say. Maybe this year it will rain and we can sit by the fireplace and eat cinnamon rolls and have hot chocolate all day while the kids enjoy opening presents. I do not remember the last time is wasn't hot and sunny on xmas day here in SD. Love to hear all the stories and see names I almost forgot about. Especially Francie's long comments (love them Fran). Keep chatting guys, we will know each other again really well even before we meet at the reunion!
